Seems August is the month for milestones at Tridium. On August 12th, Niagara surpassed 200,000 instances worldwide, a truly extraordinary milestone. Today at 12:04 PM, our very own James Johnson, who most of you know, posted his 1001st customer assistance posting on the Forum on Niagara Central. This also is an amazing milestone and achievement that is worthy of more than five stars, how about ten * * * * * * * * * *

I was blown away to learn that sometime this month, the 5 billionth device will plug into the Internet. And in 10 years, that number will grow by more than a factor of four. That's over 20 billion Internet devices, a mind boggling number indeed.

I can't believe we are only 49 days, 17 minutes and 55 seconds away from the start of the 2010 Niagara Summit. Think I'm anxious? The time is flying by.

As we approach the end of 2008, I'd like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the business we do together and for your continued support in helping us drive connectivity, integration and interoperability to the millions of devices deployed in the market today and for making buildings better---ones that are smarter, use less energy, have lower operating costs, are safer and contribute to a sustainable environment.

Well its T-minus 24 days and counting until the start of the 2008 Niagara Summit. It's May 4-6 at the Saddlebrook Resort.

Yesterday, the number of instances of the Niagara Framework surpassed 100,000!!!

We are well underway with the 2008 Niagara Summit. This is our third (we do these every other year) and by far is going to be our largest. For those of you new to the Niagara Community, the Niagara Summit is a 3-day gathering of your fellow community members, industry professionals and practitioners deploying automation and device-to-enterprise solutions built around open, interoperability, integration and connectivity----all things Niagara. The Summit is your opportunity to hear the latest from us and where Niagara is going and to learn and exchange ideas with the community.
